Problem(s) Encountered:

The west mirror cover became stuck when I was closing. Reopening and closing the covers again did not work. 
I slewed to the near east and gravity assisted in closing the problematic cover. 

Solution:

Solution is above.  Occasionally, often associated with colder weather, the needle valves require adjustment.  An interim solution is simply tilting the telescope over if there is only a single misbehaving petal.
