Problem(s) Encountered:

At the end of the night I inadvertently hit the exit button in the Owl window -- I think -- and then could not get it restarted.  Lost only a half-hour of time at most, in twilight.  It would be good to get it going again before taking Echelle off to be sure there''s nothing actually wrong with it.

Solutions:

Found a stranded process associated with Owl.  Killed it and Owl returned to normal behavior.
